I started writing this blog in 2006 with the hope of sharing my investing perspective and insight in a rapidly changing world. Applying a modern methodology for identifying trends in the market makes it possible to outperform the market and identify opportunities before Wall Street does.
I am an active investor, trading stocks and options for over eight years. I graduated from the University of California at Davis in 2009, where I co-founded the Finance & Investment Club in 2007, the first ever group of its kind at Davis. I served as Vice President 2007-2008, Senior Vice President 2009-2010, and remain an active board member and mentor. My role included planning and managing the operations of the club while building business development opportunities, which grew the club to 30 active members and established exclusive sponsorship and recruiting relationships with leading companies in the investment banking, accounting, consulting, and financial services fields.
As a Fund Manager I led 5 teams to portfolio challenge victories with quarterly returns of 14%, 18%, 12%, 9%, and 10%, outperforming the Dow 7 of 8 quarters. Prior internships in the investments and venture capital fields include Global Heritage Fund, Worldsight, Morgan Stanley, and Red Herring.
Upon graduation, I worked for State Street in a Fund Accounting and Audit role for two years specializing in International Developed Markets, and I am currently a Senior Associate with the State Street Investment Analytics division. The demands of my schedule do not leave enough time for further updates on this website, but I am always happy to share my opinions and talk about the market. Feel free to contact me and I wish you the best of luck in the market.
With kindest regards,
